WANDA SCREW (Alex Benjamin) is a Chicago-based musician, performer, educator, and event producer. He received his BA in Theatre & Marketing from Northwestern University, and shortly thereafter helped found the drag and performance art collective SADHAUS. He has performed in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and the UK, and won cycle three of Crash Landing, Chicago's alternative drag competition. He recently served as the guest artist for a class on drag & The Wizard of Oz at Northwestern University, and is a makeup artist at Kryolan City Chicago.
QUINN (Quinn Hegarty) thrives on the queer, the quirky, and the quixotic. Originally from Massachusetts and transplanting to Chicago to study Performance Studies at Northwestern, Quinn has also spent time working in France with the Theatre of the Oppressed Paris. With SADHAUS, Quinn creates immersive long-form lipsync theater productions around the city, in addition to a regular show at Berlin Nightclub. Quinn has performed at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Northwestern University, Salonathon, Mary's Attic, The Den Theatre, and The Frontier.
YOLO ONO (Toni Villaseñor-Marchal) started their drag life under the tutelage of Wanda Screw. Prior to their introduction, Yolo was a miserable Ph.D. student in the sciences with a ravenous and underfed creative side. Currently Yolo uses drag as an artistic lens through which they can showcase their cultural heritage (Native American, Mexican, and Japanese), observable in the fashion and wearable art they create. In early 2017 Yolo was accepted into the Fashion, Body, and Garment graduate program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In this program, Yolo plans to hone their skills and passion into a career that will allow them to bring all aspects of their identity into an artistry that illuminates and questions facets of the human experience across cultural, societal, and biological levels.
